Questies

The Questies program is designed for young forest explorers up to the age of 6.
This program provides a safe and exciting outdoor learning environment for the Questies, where they can explore nature, engage in structured learning activities, have super fun free play and earn badges along the way!

Children learn best through exploration and discovery.
Questies will engage in hands-on activities that promote scientific inquiry and creativity. Our curriculum is centred around outdoor activities that allow children to explore and interact with their natural surroundings, and incorporates the BC Early Learning Framework.
We have a variety of outdoor learning activities and objectives, such as forest sensory engagement, pattern recognition and building, fort building area, and plant identification to name a few.

In addition to exploration, we also offer structured learning activities that support your child's cognitive and social development. Our trained instructors lead small-group lessons that focus on topics such as plant and animal identification, environmental conservation, and teamwork skills.
These lessons are designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, with plenty of opportunities for children to ask questions and share their observations.
Our program has ample time for children to engage in unstructured play, where they can use their imagination, develop their social skills, and build physical strength and coordination.

Who
Children aged 1 to 6 years, who are able to walk independently, who love the outdoors or are seeking more exposure to age appropriate outdoor time.

Badges
Kids will earn badges as they make their way through our learning modules. They will then be moved into a new group with new modules based on their previous learning.
