Questcoast kids' Mission Statement:
To inspire the next generation of environmental stewards by providing inclusive, fun and educational outdoor experiences that foster a love for nature and a desire to protect our planet. Recognizing that Indigenous cultures and practices are essential for creating an ethical and sustainable approach to conservation, & outdoor learning, we strive to honor Indigenous knowledge and traditions by ethically incorporating them into our activities and promoting cultural understanding and celebration.
Questcoast Kids was created by a team of passionate adults who share a love for nature and a commitment to educating children in and about the environment.
Did you know that spending time in nature has been proven to have numerous benefits for kids? Studies have shown that spending time outside helps children develop their creativity, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities. It also reduces stress, increases physical activity, and improves overall well-being.
In today's increasingly technological world, it's more important than ever to encourage children to get outside and experience nature firsthand. As a 100% outdoor nature club, we offer a variety of activities designed to spark kids' curiosity and interest in the environment. From nature walks to bird watching to nature journaling, we strive to provide engaging and educational experiences that will leave a lasting impact on your kids.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn about the natural world around them. Our club is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where kids can explore, learn, and have fun.
