How experienced are the staff members leading the program?

What safety measures are in place to ensure my child's well-being?
Our parks are full of wildlife habitat. While children and families do not need to be continually on alert, there are several actions that can be taken to deter wild animals from becoming bothersome to our group. We keep potential wildlife encounters in mind when planning all activities. Preventative measures are of primary importance including monthly wildlife drills to educate and prepare our group.
What is the maximum number of children in each group or session?
We follow a maximum 7:1 child to adult ratio. This small group size allows for individualized curriculum planning to suit the needs of our group. No adventure will ever be the same!
Do you support neurodivergent children?
Our team is experienced with children of many different needs. All children are unique and we strive to find ways to best support each individual child. We will work directly with families to find how to support their child's needs. We celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive space where all children and families are welcome.
What is the cancellation policy if we need to withdraw our child from the program?
A deposit is due during registration that is put towards paying for the program. You will receive a 50% refund if withdraw before the season begins. All payments are non-refundable once the season begins. You may choose to withdraw before the second payment is due and will not be responsible for that payment. More details and dates for payments are found in the policy handbook.
Is parent participation required for questies?
Parent participation is not required. However, we know that this might be your child's first program away from you and we welcome to you join for as long as it takes for you and your child to feel comfortable with the group as well as the leaders.
What is the protocol in case of a medical emergency?
In case of a medical emergency, the family and any services needed will be contacted immediately. We will gather our group in a spot that is easily accessible and communicate our location. Staff are trained in first aid and will manage the site until emergency professionals and the family take over.
