Meet The Team
As parents ourselves we know how important it is to get to know the people who will be spending time with your kids! Here is a bit about us, our values and experience working with kids of all ages. Above all else Stefanie, Stephen and Angie adore working with children and are passionate about constantly pursuing knowledge and offering research based care. We look forward to getting to know you!
Our Story
Stefanie & Stephen started Questcoast Kids in July 2023 as a 1 day per week summer program. We wanted to create the type of program we would like our child to grow up in while finding what was needed in our community. In 2026 we have different programs running Monday to Friday from 8am to 5:15pm. We are always adapting to fit the needs of our community!
Through our education, work experience and parenting we have noticed: children are happier, more creative, adventurous, and curious in nature. Incorporating traditional school-based learning into outdoor experiences showed us that, our kids were learning and retaining more knowledge playing and exploring outside. Furthermore, research supports this type of learning and play.
As uninvited settlers we are honoured to live on the lands of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking peoples. We continue to build our outdoor community based program as we connect with nature and reflect on and learn from Indigenous values. QuestCoast Kids is grown from our passion for creating space for our children to grow to be positive members of the community.
